Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Berlin Demonstration. DESCRIPTION: The anger of the people of West Berlin has been provoked by recent actions of the Communists, in particular their cold-blooded attitude towards an East Berlin youth shot as he tried to escape across the Wall. It has resulted in daily attacks on the bus taking Russian guards to their war memorial in the Western Sector. SHOTLIST: Key scene. GV people standing around on waste ground watched closely by the police. MCU sign Friedrichstrasse. MS people standing at the grave of the youth who was shot dead. MCU grave with cross on it. MS man kneels at grave. LS guard on patrol behind barbed wire fence. GV guards controlling crowds. MS bus drives past camera with Russian guards on board.
