Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Underground to Freedom. DESCRIPTION: The Communist wall in Berlin is no barrier to those people in the Eastern Sector with a desire for freedom! Our pictures show just one of many tunnels honeycombing the border between the East and Western sectors. At least 17 escapers have used this route to freedom, but hundreds have got away through similar tunnels. SHOTLIST: MS pan sign to guards. MS pan wall and barbed wire. (4 shots) men digging tunnel. MS man in tunnel. MS man through tunnel and onto trap door.
