- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Ethiopia - Royal Mourning. DESCRIPTION: Only 2 months after the death of the Empress, another tragedy has shocked and grieved the Ethiopian people and their Imperial Ruler: the death of his youngest son, Prince Sahle Selassie. Aged only 30 when he died, the late Prince had spent a good deal of his childhood here in England, where his parents lived in exile during the war. Now, preceded by officers carrying his decorations, the coffin was borne in state to the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Addis Ababa, the capital. SHOTLIST: Key scene. MS guards on horses.
