MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Snow Scooting. DESCRIPTION: Snowshoes are old hat! The modern way to get around on the snow is by Scoot. It’s a sort of snow taxi, a combination of sled, boat and aircraft. Being used for racing here, they’re in everyday use by Canadians in the Georgian Bay area of Northern Ontario. In Winter, Scoots are the one method of transport in these parts.
