Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Can Do Kendo?. DESCRIPTION: The Japanese can do it, and the London Judo Society has a number of members learning to do it: Kendo, a ritual form of fencing in which the armour and accoutrements are as much part of the ritual as the actual sport itself. We were very honoured to witness a demonstration. By the way, although bamboos are used, the Kendo expert would use a sword. SHOTLIST: Key scene. MS opponents bow to each other.
