- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Trident. DESCRIPTION: The new British aircraft, de Havilland’s Trident, made a perfect take-off on her maiden flight, and, after flying for about an hour and a half, a perfect landing. She’s powered by three Rolls-Royce Spey jets, fitted at the tail, and she is equipped with an automatic landing device.
