Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Conflict in Katanga. DESCRIPTION: Flash from the Congo: men of the Katangan forces on patrol in Elisabethville, focal point of the fighting between Katanga and the United Nations. As our cameraman followed the patrol, a lorry load of evacuees and Katangan soldiers has been hit by a shell. Some are dead, others badly wounded. Just one incident in battle-torn Elisabethville, scene of chaos and bloodshed. SHOTLIST: Key scene. MS tanks - pan to man with gun. MS three soldiers. MS men in truck. MS same.
