Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Invention. DESCRIPTION: Invention number one is a new kind of sailing boat, designed and built by Brian Jones of Bognor. It’s more or less a surf-board, with a hull only about a foot deep. It has twin masts and sails and is, in fact, designed for racing against catamarans. Invention number two is the work of Mick Walton of Somerset, whose ambition is to fly like a bird. With his home-made wings, he thought he would be able to fly! But ... SHOTLIST: Key scene.
