Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: But - in Moscow . DESCRIPTION: Gagarin’s portrait on a model of his space rocket was one highlight seen by Mr Khrushchev at the big air show. Forty-four trainer aircraft spelt the word Lenin, and helicopters flew with girls holding banners representing all the Soviet Republics. And there were daring acrobatics in the air. The military section was quite an eye-opener for Western observers. This display was the greatest Russia has given. SHOTLIST: Key scene.
