Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: News in Brief. DESCRIPTION: Oranges and Lemons, say the bells of St Clement’s, and that means St Clement Danes, of-course. Children from a London Primary School helped to maintain tradition, when they attended a special Oranges and Lemons service, conducted by the Bishop of Maidstone. When it was over, it was he who led the distribution, an orange and a lemon for each of the youngsters. Now, meet Mrs Orang-utan at the London Zoo, and her baby daughter Bulu. Mother and child, both doing well, but special care is being taken, for no orang-utan has ever been successfully reared in Britain. And here is a flash from Paris. This artist aims at shooting her way to fame. Besides the eggs there are plastic bags containing different colours. What a way to paint a picture! Egg-istentialist, I suppose! SHOTLIST: Key scene.
