MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Queen at Guildhall. DESCRIPTION: The Queen drove to Guildhall, where the Lord Mayor, Sir Bernard Waley-Cohen, and the Lady Mayoress received Her Majesty and Prince Philip. The Guard of Honour was provided by the HAC. The occasion: the City of London’s welcome home to Her Majesty after her brilliant visits to India, Pakistan, Nepal and Persia. Most of the Commonwealth Prime Ministers, now in London, had been invited. The Lord Mayor then made a speech, to which Her Majesty replied. SHOTLIST: Key scene. MS Queen and Duke arrive.
