- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: A Tricky Job. DESCRIPTION: This 26,000 ton floating dock, destined for the Niarchos Shipyard in Greece, had to be floated through the lock from the shipyard to the river Weser. It was a tricky job to get it through a space too narrow for it. But they solved the problem by giving it a very heavy list: thousands of tons of water ballast on one side lifted the other side clear. SHOTLIST: LS dry dock afloat. MS same - dock listing slightly.
