- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Do It Yourself Plane. DESCRIPTION: The scene is at Ilford, where an enthusiastic do-it-yourself family has gone in for aircraft-construction in a small way. And here’s Mr Taylor putting finishing touches to that plane he built at home. The take-off was at White Waltham, where the test flight was made by Mr Holmes, a very experienced test pilot. SHOTLIST: GV house. FS same fuselage lowered from window. Various scenes. MS wing being lowered from window. MS engine carried to van. MS wheels carried to van. MS propeller etc. loaded into van, slip pan. MS designer (Mr Taylor) gives finishing touches to plane. CU Mr Taylor - pan to cockpit. Pan - plane takes off - family in f/g. CU Mr Taylor. Pan - plane flies past.
