Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Royal Wedding. DESCRIPTION: From the royal palace, Prince Albert of Liege and his Italian bride, Princess Paola, drove through a rejoicing capital to the Church of St Michel and St Gudule. There, Prince Albert placed the ring on the Princess’s finger. Royal visitors included King Baudouin, ex-King Leopold, ex-King Umberto of Italy, and Princess Liliane, King Leopold’s wife. After the wedding, a great reception was waiting for the Prince and Princess on their return to the Palace. SHOTLIST: GV procession (key). MS royal couple in car. GV church and procession.
