Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Vc’s Dinner. DESCRIPTION: The first gathering of VC’s at which their Associates (holders of the GC) were present, was attended by the Duke of Gloucester and the Minister of Defence, Mr Duncan Sandys. Seen also were Mrs Odette Hallowes, who defied the Gestapo and Sergeant Speakman, who won his VC in Korea. Mr Sandys then made a speech. SHOTLIST: MS dining room and people.
