Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Fire in Oxford Street. DESCRIPTION: A fire in London’s famous shopping centre - Oxford Street. Flames raged through a gown shop and workrooms four storeys high. Four women jumped from a window 30 feet high and were taken to hospital suffering from burns and shock. The shop and workrooms were gutted. SHOTLIST: Panning shots of various fire engines etc. travelling along Oxford Street. Firemen at the scene with ladders up. Flames coming out of a building. Shot of 3 fireman fighting the fire.
