- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Royal Film Performance - Beau Brummell. DESCRIPTION: The Empire Theatre naturally attracted a large crowd on the occasion of the Royal Film Performance. The Royal Party were received by Mr Reginald Bromhead, President and Chairman of the Cinematograph Trade Benevolent Fund. Leading personalities and stars of the film world had the honour of presentation. SHOTLIST: Exterior scenes. Stewart Granger and Jean Simmons arriving. Anna Neagle and Herbert Wilcox. Shelley Winters and Mr Robert Wolff. Jack Hawkins with his wife and sons Nicholas and Andrew. Michael Redgrave. Interior scenes. John Mills and Mary Mills and Sam Eckman. John Davis and Dinah Sheridan. J Arthur Rank, Jane Russell, Janette Scott, Susan Stephen and Peter Ustinov. The arrival of the Royal party being received by Reginal Bromhead. Stars being presented included Stewart Granger, Jean Simmons, Jack Hawkins, Anna Neagle, Michael Redgrave, Jane Russell, Shelley Winters. Bouquet being presented by Nicholas Hawkins to the Queen. The Royal Party taking their seats. 10 year old Jimmy Goldsmith presenting the programmes.
