Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Guarding the Granary. DESCRIPTION: In the Northern State of Kelantan, the local harvest is gathered and transported to a communal centre where the valuable food is protected from the hungry banks of marauding terrorists. SHOTLIST: Scenes of Malayans carrying frame work of rice stores. Store buildings being built. Various scenes of thatching. Barbed wire being erected round the fences. A bullock towing a cart which is loaded with rice bags. Natives on cycles carrying rice. The women husk and drying the rice. Shot of the village Home Guard patrolling the fence and keep watch.
