MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Australian News. DESCRIPTION: After twenty-nine days at sea, the New Zealand-built yacht, Blue Water recently arrive at Tahiti - during festival time. At Taronga Park Zoo, Sydney, a big attraction is always provided when the elephants take their bath. Australian aboriginals, who have naturally got boomerang making down to a fine art and lately, they have been making a lot of new boomerangs, for souvenirs and demonstrations will come into the picture during the Royal visit. The keenest anticipation is felt throughout Australia and an official welcome song has been composed in readiness for the Queen’s visit. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Yacht. CU occupants. Shot off shore of island of Tahiti and harbour Papeete. Two yachtsmen lower sail. LS sea with natives in canoes. SCU native canoe festively decorated. Group of natives. Canoe down river. CUs processes design burnt on. CU finished boomerang. Wipe. Boys choir on dais sing first verse of welcome song composed for Queen’s visit.
