Summary

MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Cockell Beats Farr. DESCRIPTION: There were many ex-champions at the Nottingham Ice Stadium to see the fight between Don Cockell and Tommy Farr. Although Cockell was unable to land a knock-out in the fight, the referee stopped the contest at the end of the seventh round, he had beaten Tommy Farr who ended the night’s entertainment by singing Land of My Fathers.
