Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Olympic Preliminaries. DESCRIPTION: Helsinki, Finland’s capital, is all ready for the Games - Olympic signs were to be seen everywhere for the life of the city is now virtually given over to the forthcoming meeting. Pictures from the British camp show that the Athletes are settling down in their quarters, while the Russian camp (although it is now impossible to get a glimpse of it) has a good deal of hush-hush about it. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. GV stadium entrance. Various GVs of stadium, also with swimming pool in background. Elevated GVs of the city, also Olympic signs along streets & everywhere.
