Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Queen in Edinburgh. SHOTLIST: Cut story (Short Version) - KS. GV St Giles Cathedral. Queen arrives at cathedral. Alights, walks to Signet Library. Walking to St Giles in robes of the Order of the Thistle, also present the Duke of Gloucester. SCU St Giles. Leaving in procession after ceremony. Royal Garden Party in grounds, various shots of people, Queen mingles with the people. Long version - Same as GR only extra scenes added - in procession Earl of Haddington, the Duke of Hamilton & Brandon, the Duke of Buccleuch. Garden Party. Grounds of Holyrood House, Queen’s Own Cameronian Highlanders play bagpipes to the Queen. Cut-ins of the Queen at window. Queen inspects cadets, marchpast of cadets of all services.
