MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Jet Turbo Car Breaks Records. DESCRIPTION: The Rover Turbo-Car (the world’s first gas turbine auto) recently made trial runs over the Jebbeke highway, near Ostend; standing start speeds of over 95 miles per hour were achieved, and the timekeepers recorded a speed of 152.691 for the flying kilometre.
