Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Royal Visit to Ulster. (Duke & Duchess of Gloucester). SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Duke inspecting troops. Royal Viking taxies, Duke & Duchess alight, at Aldergrove Aerodrome. Outside Lisburn Town Hall, presented to civic officials. GV Queen’s University, GV nurses marching across grounds. Ceremonial procession through grounds, with Duke in procession, all wearing regalia (Order of St John). Procession enters college. Inside, procession down aisle. Duke invests a person (unknown) with order. Slip-pan, at Thiepval Barracks, Lisburn, Duke inspects South Staffordshire Regiment, also detachment of British Legion. Presents South Staffs. with new colours.
