Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Malayan Operation - Patrols Through Jungle. DESCRIPTION: The helicopter has been proving of considerable value in the fight against the Communists in Malaya; this story, concerning a jungle operation by men of the Cameronians, underlines the fact. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Helicopter over jungle. Cameronians unload goods from helicopter. Patrol starts off through jungle, various shots as they make their way through same & swamps, wading up to their shoulders in water. Hut - Cameronians burn same. Dakota overhead, smoke flares go up, Dakota drops supplies right on spot. Cameronians sorting out the food, one looks at a newspaper. Two relax under canvas. One in bed. Others hacking down trees, etc. Helicopter approaches some men board same. Helicopter gaining height. Very good jungle scenes.
