- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Royal Tour - Return Journey Greetings. DESCRIPTION: After their rest at Vancouver, the Royal visitors continued their Canadian tour - this time from West to East. It was after the stop at Edson that the Royal pair drove the engine of their train for some twenty minutes. The next big city on the list was Edmonton, where children were once again prominent in the city’s welcome. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Train pulling through station. Train passing through Chilliwack Station, few people on same. Another station crowded with people. Travelling shot from royal train as it passes across country, showing the Rockies, Fraser Valley, train running alongside Fraser River. Train stops at Edson, sign reading Edson. Royal Couple, Princess Elizabeth & Prince Philip climb into engine cabin, shots taken from cabin while travelling of royal couple driving & firing engine. Train stops. GV Legislative Building, Edmonton. Children in kilts line stairs. Princess & Duke receive gifts from children. Bearskin rug for themselves.
