Royal Coat of Arms. Royal car through cheering crowds, arrival at Castle of Lancaster. King, Queen & Princess Margaret alight, greeted by Lord Sefton, the latter presents the keys of the castle to HM. Royal Family pass through gateway, walk across courtyard, interior of Shire Hall, inspecting, look at heraldic emblems. Royal Family (exterior) chat (silent) to nurses & patients of Royal Infirmary. Trucking shot along roadway, arriving at Corless Mill Farm. John Fox greets RF. Interior - RF looking at Ancona chicks in incubator, several shots. SCU of chicks. RF with tenants of farms. Drive through cheering crowds to Town Hall - Lancaster. Royal Family presented to several officials. Slip-pan - Royal car arrives at Preston Town Hall, crowds cheering, many citizens presented. Crowd cheering. Arrival at Wards House Farm. Royal Family presented to (reverse) police officers.
