MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Belgium’s Oppressors Sentenced. DESCRIPTION: A four-month trial of Germans accused of war crimes has just been concluded in Brussels. They were General von Falkenhausen (once Military Governor of Belgium), General Reder (Chief of German administration there), Generals Bertram and von Claer (Governors of Liege). Von Claer was the only one acquitted. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. GV court sitting. President Marechal with other officials enter court & take their places. GV court. Prisoners - General von Falkenhausen, General Reeder, General Bertram & von Claer. Various shots of prisoners seated. Also president reading out the sentences.
