MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Leaping Boats. DESCRIPTION: At Cypress Gardens, Florida, the field races at 35 mph in a Grand National Steeplechase for outboard motor-boats. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Line of outboard motor-boats speeding along lake. Shots of outboards speeding along course and going over various jumps, actually leave the water, some of the jumps being rather high. One boat crashes into tree trunk. Shots (out of camera) of boat landing on water. Another crash. Into camera boats over jumps. Boats on finishing coming out of water up the beach to finish. Two outboards taking jump going in opposite directions, appear as though they are going to hit head-on.
