MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Atom Bomb - Secret Experiments Released to the World. DESCRIPTION: Since Atom Bomb number five at Bikini, there have been further experiments at Eniwetok (another Pacific Atoll) - three improved bombs have been tested. The details of these latest experiments remain secret - but the pictures, shown now for the first time, tell the incredible story of incredible force with fearful clarity. SHOTLIST: KS. Rising smoke directly after explosion, tilt up of same. Aerial - Bikini Islands. Men putting goggles on. LS atom bomb No 5 exploding, wave washing over ship anchored around island. Aerial of Eniwetok Atoll. Instruments & towers in water for use during explosions. Radar instruments. Loading plane with camera, shot through glass being fixed in position. Night shot plane taxiing & taking off, without pilot. Inside control room, man at controls. LS night explosion of atom bomb No 6. GVs explosion during night. Planes return to aerodrome touchdown.
