Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: UNO Answers Malik’s Accusations. DESCRIPTION: If it’s possible to sabotage the United Nations, Russia’s Jacob Malik seems the most likely man to do it. On one occasion, falsely accusing America of aggression, he got his reply from Mr Warren Austin. SHOTLIST: KS. MS Malik seated in president’s seat. GV meeting. SCU Malik seated & hitting gavel on desk. Warren Austin - SCU addresses meeting. Austin refers to the backing by Russia of the Korean fighting, also how he is sabotaging the United Nations & mention that only 53 of the 59 members voted for the cease fire in Korea, the other six supporting Russia.
