Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Niagara Rescue By Helicopter. DESCRIPTION: 200 feet above the roaring Niagara Falls, Mrs Bugay is discovered stranded on a rock, a helicopter, attempting an heroic rescue, touches the water and is knocked over and two more lives are in jeopardy. A second machine makes shore connection with the castaways and all three are saved. SHOTLIST: People in the foreground - falls. Woman clinging to rock. Several attempts by helicopter to rescue - first one gets wrecked. Rescuers and woman are approached by second helicopter - they run a rope from the rock to shore - all eventually rescued. Mrs Bugay close up (still).
