- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Aviation - Helicopters’ Ballet; Triangle Plane & Largest Flying Plane. DESCRIPTION: HELICOPTER BALLET - The latest performance by helicopters is to stage an aerial ballet over an airforce base at Waco, Texas. TRIANGLE PLANE - From California come pictures of a new US Air Force jet experimental interceptor. LARGEST FLYING BOAT - At the Saunders Roe factory at Cowes, they’re building what is claimed to be the largest aircraft ever produced in Britain. Three 140 ton Princess flying boats are being built and are expected to be launched towards the end of 1951. SHOTLIST: KS. Eight helicopters hovering. Various shots of the above helicopters performing just above ground, revolving, dipping, etc. This is at Waco, Texas. (30 seconds). At California, pilot climbs into Triangle plane. Jet Triangle plane taxies, & takes off. Plane at high speed. (28 seconds). At Cowes. GV construction of largest flying-boat "Princess". Various shots of the plane under construction inside and out. ‘Still’ of artist’s impression of what same will look like when completed. Riveters at work, & various workmen. (47 seconds).
