MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Amateurs Grand National. DESCRIPTION: The National Hunt Steeplechase at Cheltenham was won by Ellesmere from Tiberdon with Laurentum’s Pride third. Ellesmere, the favourite, who is a full-brother to Roimond won by five lengths. SHOTLIST: KS. GV crowds & stands. Various crowd scenes, in fine weather. Horse in paddock parading. Cut-ins close-ups of horses. Elevated GV parade along course. At starting post. Various shots of the race after start showing few left at post. Taking various jumps & several falls.
