Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Princess Visits the Potteries. DESCRIPTION: Princess Elizabeth recently made a two day tour of the potteries, seeing for herself a great deal of excellent work being done there. The Princess, seen in the Royal Doulton Works at Burslem, showed keen interest in technical details of the many processes involved. SHOTLIST: KS. GR version - Various shots of pottery displayed. Interior - various shots of Princess Elizabeth walking round factory (Doulton’s) inspecting pottery & watching craftsmen & women at work. Princess holds a Prince Charles commemoration mug. SPECIAL - consisted of arrival, exterior raining, drive through cheering crowds, trucking shot, walks towards camera in factory grounds & other shots of her inspecting pottery making.
