MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Great Britain V France - Sports. DESCRIPTION: Donald Findlay, making his last appearance in International competitions, set up a record in the 120 yards hurdles. Other events included the mile which was won by Verdier of France who just beat Nankeville, Britain’s much fancied miler. England beat France by 82 points to 65 in this athletics match at White City. Field events - MS throwing the hammer. Neville Nankeville in the one mile race. Jean Verdier pacing Nankeville & passes just before the end to win. Crowds cheering.
