- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Australia’s Freak Weather. DESCRIPTION: Due to a cyclone off the South coast of Australia the weather has taken many strange forms, snow worse than any in living memory and gales up to 80 mph have swept the coast. SHOTLIST: KS. MS house in blizzard. Cows in snow covered field wrapped in coats. Train passes along snow covered track in & out of camera. Cars pass along snow covered street, car swerves to side. Huge waves breaking on rocky coast. MS submarine aground leaning over side. One of the crew dives in water & swims for shore, reaches there exhausted. SCU submarine aground. Rest of crew taken off in rowboat.
