MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Animal News. DESCRIPTION: Animals of all kinds, seals, dogs, monkeys and cats show how intelligent they can be, especially before an audience. SHOTLIST: GERMANY - KS MS circus animals performing. GV exterior of circus. CU seal’s head. Several shots doing balancing trick. FRANCE - Alsatian dog climbs ladder onto a two wire rope & walks across, half way across with covered face. CU dog licking its master’s face. AUSTRALIA - CU bulldog. A cat & dog playing with one another, the small dog pulling the Persian cat all over the garden. The cat occasionally gets annoyed. Another cat nurses a possum, several shots of it on cat’s back, eventually it picks possum up in its mouth. Penguins in a line, another walks behind same. Elephant bangs drum with its tail. Monkeys perform in cages. SCU monkey turning a camera, facing camera, to finish.
