Summary
The production of bulletproof safety glass for wartime use. Strength shown under attack from Bren-gun. Sheets of cellulose-acetate are placed between sheets of glass and sealed with bitumen. Carriage screen of the Mosquito is prepared, the inside being cleaned with petroleum-ether. Manufacture of toughened glass for road vehicles - demonstrated to stand up to extremes of heat and pressure.
