Summary
At a Yorkshire works - refining copper, moulding it into "billets" which are treated in a pre-heated furnace, lengthened into tubes and cut to the required lengths. Process of manufacture seen in detail. Uses include: parts for ships’ boilers, engines, aircraft, radio sets etc.
