- Summary
- Generals Montgomery, commanding the Eighth Army, and Clark, commanding the Fifth Army, join forces to capture Naples. Allied forces attack enemy at front and rear. German snipers rounded up. At Torre Annunziata, the German concentration camps are liberated, and Jewish prisoners marry. Allies reach Pompeii. Retreating Nazis bombed. Three newspaper reporters killed in raid - graves of same. General Clark of the Eighth Army is welcomed. Young Nazi prisoners taken into custody.
