Summary

Air Vice-Marshal Cunningham and General Montgomery on fringe of Egypt. Food, water and ammunition supplies are laid in, and Eighth Army prepares to launch a night attack. Bombers strike at Rommel’s radio installations and penetrate further still behind enemy lines. Infantry see in action; many direct hits; Italians routed. (Second battle of El Alamein). Eisenhower and the American Campaign from Casablanca to Algiers. Shots of Eisenhower. American forces capture Casablanca from Vichy troops. Mediterranean landings at Oran. Allies meet Admiral Darlan at Algiers. Shots of Petain. German and Italian prisoners taken.
