Summary

The conflicting claims of working mothers leads to loss of man-hours. In a large engineering works in the North-West the problem has been solved by the provision of a residential nursery for the children of working mothers. Manager speaks of problem and how it was solved. Children seen at play in the nursery. Good effects of early communal activity on later development of such children.
