Summary
US National Archive entry: 10 min, sd, B&W, 35mm Pipe, to be laid across the English Channel for the transportation of petroleum, is prepared in England. The British ship Conundrum starts "Operation Pluto" by laying pipe sections in the channel. Shows a pumping station. Oil-burning tanks advance, flaming oil is used to lift fog from an airstrip; planes land and take off. Record Group 208 Accession 3276
