Summary
On the road to Mandalay. The British Fourteen Army blasts its way through the jungle and Japanese. Dead Japanese soldier; wounded Allied soldier. Surgical operation in the middle of the jungle. Allied dead being buried in the jungle. The new road across the Irrawaddy. Burmese solders help in the operations - including girls. At Wan Ting, on the border, a V sign in flowers is seen. China reached. Chinese market place. Crossing the Salween River. Action stations taken along the road to counter attack from the Japanese. At Kunming, US troops receive a huge welcome. A triumphal procession takes place in which General Pick takes part. He is received by General Lung Yan.
