Summary
King George VI visits the Centre for Islamic Culture in London. A Guard of Honour is formed by Gurkhas and officers and men of the Indian Army. The Egyptian Ambassador, Hassan Nashaat Pasha introduces other Islamic dignitaries to the King. Mr Langley Taylor, architect, shows King George the plans for the proposed mosque in London.
