Summary

US National Archive entry: 11 min, sd, B&W, 35 mm British field guns are loaded and fired near Cherbourg. US troops lead prisoners to the rear. Cherbourg citizens greet troops entering the city. Refugees return to their homes. Ninth Air Force bombers strike Nazi robot bomb launching sites; shows the destroyed ramps and railroad tracks. RAF bombers reconnoiter over the area and bomb installations. Record Group 208 - Accession 3276
