- The King and Queen inspect a contingent of the Fourth Indian Division in Britain. A Gurkha receives the VC from King George. Part 5 Churchill presents a sword to Russian Ambassador Gusev commemorating Stalingrad’s liberation. Russian civilians receive awards at Stalingrad; wreaths are placed on tombs.
