Summary
The Sicilian Campaign is over. A typical Sicilian town surrenders gladly to the Allies as tanks roll in. German prisoners. Men of the Yugoslav Pioneer Corps, captured by the Italians in the Balkans, clear up the debris caused by Allied bombing and artillery. They volunteer to join Allies. Scenes of starvation in the small town of Solarpino. The soldiers give away their own rations to the starving. The official Allied distribution of food to the populace. Italian prisoners.
