Summary

Holidays: what to do in them now that travelling is discouraged. Some suggestions: cricket, taking the air by the Thames (for Londoners), gardening, football (the Inter-Services Cup Final at Stamford Bridge), horse-racing at Newmarket. Enemy bomb can still fall in one’s garden while one is at play, however! Parade in Hyde Park, attended by the King, celebrates the third anniversary of the Home Guard.
